Love and Laughter valentine layout

Happy Monday!  It's a Valentine theme going at BBTB2 this week, since the big day is only a few weeks away.  I've got some Valentines to share over the next few weeks but today is for a layout since I know there will be some funny iPhone pictures by the kids on Valentine's day!  I used Create A Critter 2 because who could resist that Valentine owl charm?  Not me!  See more Valentine inspiration over at BBTB2 from the rest of the design team.

Ice Skate thank you card

Happy Monday!  It's been a busy weekend of work and I am so ready to have today off.   Our BBTB2 challenge this week is to use ice skates on a project.  It so happens that the U.S. National Figure Skating Championships were in Kansas City last week and I have watched quite a bit of skating on TV.   Makes me wish I knew how to ice skate!  For my project, I made a thank you card, using the skates from the Family Album cartridge.  You can see the other skating projects over at BBTB2 and enter the drawing at the end of the month for some cricut supplies.

Snow Much Fun

Happy MLK Monday!  Is it cold and possibly snowy where you live (or recovering from an ice storm like KC)?  I am hosting the BBTB2 challenge this week and I selected snow fun as the theme for the week.  Projects celebrating any kind of snowy fun fit the bill for our challenge.  My teens still like to sled and build a snowman when we get a big snow and I used the Winter Frolic cartridge for my Frosty layout.  The design team has some super snowy projects over at BBTB2 and you can link up a new snowy cricut project there.  Don't forget, every project entry is entered at BBTB2 into a drawing for a pack of prizes donated by Cricut at the end of January!

Blue Hawaii layout

Happy Monday!  Our BBTB2 challenge this week is in honor of Elvis' birthday-make a project that references an Elvis song.  My layout is reflecting the Blue Hawaii album.  I used the Life is A Beach and Doodlecharms cartridges for most of this beach layout.  Since I'm not going to get to go anywhere tropical this winter and it's been super cold and wintery here in KC, this will have to give me that tropical vibe I am wishing for.  There are some fun Elvis projects up over at BBTB2 for you to take a look and enter the challenge for a chance at a prize!!!!

New Years layout

Happy Monday and Happy 2017!  I hope you had a merry Christmas and happy New Year!  My Christmas was full of family and very merry, although I rang in the new year at work in the ICU.  I spent some time last week looking through the scrapbook of 2016-it was full of happy memories and moments.  I can't wait to see what this year's pictures will look like!

Our BBTB2 challenge this week is NEW: use a cut that symbolizes the new year or use a new tool or technique-pretty wide open.  Since I am a chronological scrapper and scrap my pictures through the year, I made a cover page for my 2017 scrapbook, using cuts from Doodlecharms and Accent Essentials to symbolize the seasons and Artistry for the large numbers of 2017.  The welcome is a CTMH stamp.  I hope your 2017 is amazing and full of happy memories too.
